Very good quality – complete, concise directions. Would’ve preferred galvanized nails, for an outdoor project (I bought my own). All components fit very well. Built it myself, with only a little help from my wife, to hold walls steady.
I bought 2 of these – one in kit form & one was a completed “floor sample” on close out (discontinued). I’m not sure what model they are (bought over a year ago), but I believe they are Stratfords. One is a garden shed & one is converted to a chicken coop.

I think that the overall appearance of this Shed is nice, but the quality of materials supplied in the Kit – to build this Shed – were of sub-standard quality. I had to purchase my own flooring, and I added an additional 4 x 4 x 12′ foundation support beam to prevent the flooring from sagging in the middle. Plus, I purchased several additional floor joists, because the Kit provides two sections, that require you to “toe-in” the nails, in order to link two sections together, and the dimensions of their Kit supplies don’t really, facilitate “toeing-in” that size of 2 x 4″. i.e. Each time I tried it the wood split so, it was simply better to just go to the local lumber supply store and purchase (2) 2 x 4 x 12′ pieces, for greater support. The walls that are supplied look like thin, pressed fibre-board, that you could easily thrust the end of a hammer through. So, all in all, it’s a great design, but it would be hard for me to believe that the manufacturer has any more cost in this Kit, than $200.00, and the base-kit I bought cost me around $1,500.00, because I bought the additional supplies to fortify the Shed, and they don’t provide flooring, nor any roofing materials, or paint to finish it. You’d be better-served to follow one of their blue prints, and get allllll of your own materials. That’s if you’re looking for a real quality build.

We ordered this shed to replace our old one that was flooded not once but twice last Spring at Lake Texoma . My hubby is ecstatic about his new shed and 2 days after it was built by Heartland contractors we have I completely painted and new shelving and more pegboard added. Even painted the floor and shelves and work bench .
Thank you Lowes and Heartland .

The Strattford kit was on sale and with the extras as floor , shingles and screws totaled $1,100.00. The quality of cuts expect 1/8″ to 3/16″ short for precut members, same with exterior siding panels not being square. Its true as stated in the instructions the floor must be Perfectly Level and Square, they are not kidding. Their dimensions are short as stated before which equates to 140-7/8″ to 140-13/16″ x 95-7/8″, which also changes the diagonals in the instructions, trigonometry math does help to Correct their printed diagonals for squareness. Some knowledge and understanding is needed on how to rack the floor and walls for squareness, you basically have to be right on when building all walls and floor to achieve the 1/8″ tolerance stated from customer service. Don’t use nails provided , screws are the way to go, not disturbing your already set dimensions while securing the members together. The instructions , methods within need some corrections. This kit is not for the Novice or weekend warrior. Taking the time with floor and making the neccessary field corrections the kit does go together well . MATH AND BUILDING EXPERIENCE NEEDED.

I was happy for the most part about the shed but did closer inspection and noticed the shingles weren’t installed correctly. I don’t know much about shingle installation but this looked pretty noticeable. The shingles weren’t nailed in on the edges…I was able to lift the shingles.

    Other findings:
-There were some gaps in the wood (studs) that weren’t drilled all the way
-Shingles were used to level the shed on the frame (not sure if that’s a viable option or not)
-They said I had to finish caulking the trims and other gaps when I PAID for all of the labor. I shouldn’t have to do anything else to it but paint (which I agreed to do).

The following pictures that are uploaded should help out.

I put this shed in my backyard. I saw it online, it ordered through Lowes near me.
They said two to three weeks. Two weeks and Lowes called and for me to pick it up.
As soon as I arrived at Lowes, went in to pay they gave me 10% discount on the
already good price, made my day. The assembly was very well laid out in an instruction
booklet, good job guys. All of the hardware and nail, screws etc. were there in boxes and bags.
It went up surprisingly fast. Thanks for making a great product.

I was definitely impressed by our installer, Tim, from Backyard Storage Solutions. He worked all day and made us a beautiful new storage shed. I would recommend your product and installers to anyone.
